The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named Ghanaian referees Bless Yao Selorm and Rejoice Addokwei among the new batch of FIFA-accredited referees set to undergo specialized training for CAF competitions.
The intensive training program will occur in Egypt from February 23 to February 27. The selected referees will be equipped with the latest officiating techniques, updated laws of the game, and practical sessions to enhance their capabilities on the field.
This recognition highlights Ghana’s growing presence in international refereeing. It presents a significant opportunity for both officials to officiate in top CAF tournaments, including the CAF Champions League, Confederation Cup, and national team competitions.
The Association (GFA) congratulates the duo. We are confident they will excel in the training and make the country proud on the continental stage.
Bless Yao Selorm and Rejoice Addokwei are expected to return to Ghana and be better equipped to handle high-profile matches, further strengthening the country’s officiating standards in local and international competitions.
